Maintenance Tips

Here are some tips to keep your products working.

  • Tankless water heaters should be descaled and serviced annually by a professional to minimize premature failure and increase the tankless units efficiency.
  • Tank water heaters can be flushed annually and inspected for corrosion. If the service history of the water heater is not known and the water heater is over 6-8 years old, we do not recommend flushing the water heater due to the risk of spreading free floating sediment/scale throughout the hot water piping and into fixtures.
